Affinity Dental Southbay

I bought my children to Affinity Dental on March 22, 2012 for their first visit. As a first visit to any service provider, one would hope for an overall pleasant experience. It started well with the office staff and the gal assisting us was very pleasant and personable. However, when my 14 year-old daughter returned to me in the waiting room after her x-ray and exam, she cried when asked how it went. She told me that both the dentist and her assistant were very rude when explaining how badly her gums were. When the assistant approached me with my children’s results, she did not introduce herself and appeared very irritated. In addition, she provided me with written treatment results that included prices, but not complete treatment options as provided for by my insurer. She only provided the completed treatment options after I questioned her and the doctor. I found this to be sneaky and it gave me the impression of her hiding something. fr Our visit started well and ended disappointing with the assistant’s impersonal and sneaky behavior. Sadly, the overall “First Impression” of this Dental Group was disappointing! I will not be taken my children back to Affinity.
